Department of National Identity, Insignia and Language

The Department of National Identity, Insignia and Language is the government department responsible for national symbols, including the flag and crest, the development of a watertight Glastieven culture unique from the surrounding area, researching the traditional history and traditions of the territory of Glastieve, and promoting the Evonian language.

As of March 2017, this department is responsible to the Minister Charlotte Bourner MoC, and currently employs zero special advisors and support staff.

4th March 2017: Evonian reference grammar publicised

2nd March 2017: National symbols, such as national food, fruit, tree and animal, decided on in a cross-departmental "Culture Committee" chaired by us

 

24th February 2017: flag and crest of Glastieve designed and made official

Personell and policy

Our department is headed by Charlotte Bourner Member of Cabinet, one of the original founders of Glastieve.

 

The main objective of the department is to develop Glastieve culturally, and to work with the Department for Infrastructure, Transportation and Geographical Affairs to keep the government of Glastieve in touch with the territory claimed by the state
